X.C.V.B Was Featured, I Squee'd Something Fierce

Posted by makehimanoffer - July 24th, 2013

Hey guys,
makehimanoffer here.
Said I'd make a new post to just say how happy I am that X.C.V.B has been featured. It means alot to me. I hadn't been on newgrounds in 2 days and came back to having 30 new reviews. Needless to say I was surprised. I love the feedback that the game is getting. I've literally never been so happy with a game that I've made.
It prides me even more to say that even before X.C.V.B had been featured I began working on a vast full game improvement aptly titled Super X.C.V.B. I began with this as I felt even before all those amazings views and reviews started coming in that with a bit of improvement X.C.V.B had great potential. I want to make it live up to that potential and will try my best to create a game worthy of being sold. And then, as a token of my appreciation of the newgrounds community and those who left reviews, a free copy will be given to a select number. I was thinking of having it so I give each fan on newgrounds I have a copy but I'm not sure how I'd do that. Regardless I'll figure something out hopefully.

Anyways, if you liked X.C.V.B maybe think about being a fan of me on Newgrounds (you might get a free game out of it), or if you're interested in following the development of Super X.C.V.B check out my facebook like page for it here: https://www.facebook.com/SuperXCVB

Anyways, thanks for reading. Thanks to everyone for playing my games. I know not all of them are great but timeframe can get in the way. Or just me being a noob.

Thanks for listening,
makehimanoffer

P.S first person to comment on this post will be sent a free copy of Super X.C.V.B when it's ready and released

I do always enjoy a good indie game...

CONGRATS thanks for commenting

Man, That game was great.
Really original idea, with good execution.
The difficulty was appropriate, and it felt rewarding when I finally finished (after I washed my eyes about seven times, of course ^_^)

I gotta say, beating X.C.V.B., then playing through it again after a few days, and being MUCH better at it than before is a surreal experience. I almost feel right at home with the controls now. Given the purpose of the game, I hope that's not discouraging news.

I'm glad you gave it multiple goes to be honest like.In so far as there will be more than just the memorisation of controls and navigation of levels.for one it will hit on multiple ways of utilising the controls and level styles

I enjoyed the game so much, ti was a worthy challenge, in the beginning i felt dumb but then i got comfortable with the controls, i hope to see the sequel soon
